Mommy's Little Model

With my new camera in hand, I have a new appreciation for my dad.  He always has his camera out ready to capture "the next great shot".  My little model has been doing lots of posing (or playing in front of my camera) lately.  He has been a great sport and I appreciate the continuous shooting feature on my camera allowing me to capture some wonderful photos of my running toddler.  I have now been able to play in my editing program to get some interesting effects.  Here are some of pics from the last week.  What a fun new hobby!

Spring is in the air

It has been quite some time since I posted an update.  So here is a quick note about our last couple of months.  Max has still been battling the respiratory virus that he has had since January.  We finally figured out that there may be an allergy component to what is going on.  So Max now has allergy medicine and breathing treatments.  This weekend he finally started acting like his crazy self again.  I seized the opportunity and snapped some photos with my new camera.  I am so excited to have a "good" camera again, and am welcoming my old hobby back with open arms! 

It is also amazing to see how much Max is learning and talking!  He can tell us what several animals "say", point out most body parts (although he refuses to point to his ears) and is in love with books.  His favorites are Brown Bear Brown Bear and Whare is Baby's Valentine?  Hopefully the Easter Bunny brings Max some new books too!
