7 Months Old

We have been so busy lately that I have not had time to update the blog.  Here is a brief recap of what has been going on at our house over the past few weeks...

At the end of June, we had Max at the doctor quite a bit.  First we thought he had another ear infection, but luckily his ears were just fine.  However, later that week he got a stomach virus and a week after that he developed croup.  Lucky for us, he started to feel better right around the beginning of July. 

On July 1st Max turned 7 months old.  He loves to sit up and look around.  He also decided that he was going to start rolling over from his back to his belly.  He is also talking, screeching and babbling like crazy.  Nothing is safe from his kung-fu grip either.  He especially loves noses and hair.  On an uglier note, 7 months also brought with it the ability fight naps. Max now screams, pinches and punches when it is time to take a nap.

We just spent the last week all hanging out together at home.  It was nice to have vacation time together.  Our vacation included lots of shopping and swimming. At the end of our vacation, Max, Ron and I all traveled to Omaha for a wedding.  We had a great time.  Max was such a trooper even though his schedule was disrupted.  We had a great time on our first family vacation.
